About Me
I’m a dedicated and fully qualified dog groomer, holding an OCN level 3 certification, as well as canine first aid qualification. I have gained extensive experience working with various breeds and dealing with different behavioural types. I have had my cocker spaniel Leo since I was 9 years old so understand the special bond and companionship that comes with having a furry friend.
Previously I was at university, studying a fashion degree but it became evident to me that my true calling involved working closely with dogs, helping them look and feel their best. Their unconditional love, loyalty, and unique personalities captivated me in ways that fashion never could. As a result, I made the bold decision to shift my focus and dedicate myself to the world of dog grooming.
Since embarking on this new path, I have found immense fulfillment and satisfaction in working with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Every day, I witness firsthand the joy that grooming brings to both the pets and their owners. The ability to make a tangible and positive difference in the lives of these beloved creatures has further solidified my passion for this field.
Transitioning from fashion to dogs was a pivotal decision that uncovered my true purpose. As the owner of Burwood Dog Grooming, I'm thrilled to combine my love for dogs with grooming expertise, providing exceptional care and happiness to our furry friends.
The Salon
After obtaining my dog grooming qualification and gaining experience within a groomers, the exciting journey to build and design my own grooming salon began. This salon embodies professionalism while emphasising a homely and comfortable setting for our furry clients. Through careful planning and attention to detail, we have created an environment that prioritises the well-being and happiness of each and every dog. To achieve this, I decided to incorporate elements that would lend a homely touch to the salon's design. I opted for earthy colours to create a sense of comfort and tranquility. While my grooming salon is undoubtedly professional with state-of-the-art equipment and industry-leading techniques, I am proud that it doesn't compromise on creating a homely and welcoming atmosphere. My ultimate goal is for every dog that enters our salon to feel safe, relaxed, and loved.
